Last night was the girls dance recital. They all did a super job. I am so proud of them. I love stuff like this, I was meant to have girls,(girly girls). The only problem is....my husband loves all things sports
and I feel bad that he can't feel the way I felt last night. You know, watching your child do something you enjoyed doing as a kid. I know that he loves seeing his girls dance, but I wish he had a son.

Hey April...I'm with you... I LOVE girly girl stuff. I always figured I'd have a bunch of boys and here I am surrounded by girls. Poor Max is such a trooper to put up with it all. I totally know how you feel with wishing your husband had a boy. I'm SO thankful for Max, but sometimes it makes my heart just ache wishing that he had a brother, and that my husband had boys surrounding him wanting to talk stats and play football in the back yard while I'm sitting there painting fingernails and doing girly stuff with the girls. I'm so thankful I know Heavenly Father knows what He's doing sending us all these girls, because I sure don't know what I'M doing sometimes!

April your Girls are so beautiful and talented! I wish I could have come! Life is interesting how we don't really get to choose what we get, but I know it is perfect for you and your family! Brian is such an amazing father, one of the best I have ever seen! Especially with girls! He will be an awesome father in-law and one day he will hopefully have Grandsons! Or who knows maybe you will adopt that little boy he dreams of! I loved the sweet pictures! It makes me so excited to watch my little Ava grow! I pray that she will love the things I love! I know what you mean. i am so thrilled for my girls everytime they dance. Scott is too but he has had to do soo many girly things for us over the years. I am so glad he will finally get his boy.

As for baking ourselves this summer. When are you available? My boys are out of school as of this Thurs. Name the day. I would love to have our kids get together.

The girls look adorable, and the concert looks like it was a success. And you remembered flowers...my girls always ask that I bring them to their concerts, and I always seem to forget. Next time.
