April 24th is my dad and mother-in-laws birthday. Thursday night we had a surprise party for her at Mauri's. It was fun being with Brian's side of the family. Vicky has been so helpful with the move. She came over three days in a row to help put the house together. I couldn't have done it with out her. Thanks Vicky, for all that you do. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday Dad!
Today we celebrated my Dads Birthday. It was such a fun day. The whole family came, we heated the pool, it was officially
our first pool party. The weather was beautiful today. Awesome day for an awesome guy.
My dad is the best. I love him so much, we're alot alike. My dad and I "get" each other. I have so much love and admiration for him. He has always made sure I understood how proud he was of me and how much he loved me, I never had to wonder. I am grateful for him. I hope he understands how much I love him and how proud I am to call him dad.
The grandkids adore him.
The girls and one of their many "shows".
Jerzi and Tatum, TROUBLE!!!!

mean girls?
Tonight I went outside to watch Aspens jump rope routine. ( For those of you who don't know her, she's always putting on some kind of a show.) And the next thing I know, my neighbor comes over to tell me that Aspen and Jess ( another neighbor girl) are being "mean" to Mikelle, her daughter. I don't know what to do. All three of these girls live within one house of each other, are all in the same class at school, and are inseparable. What should I do? I don't tolerate meaness. I know that they're all guilty at times, including Aspen. I just feel bad that it is this way. I told Aspen that if I here that she's the one being mean, and I hear of it, she'll be grounded
. I just hope that it's not always going to be like this, I mean, I have three girls. It really puts the moms in a bad position. Of course, we each thought our daughter was the least responsible. We also knew our own daughters could be capable of being the mean one. Nobody wants to see their child be left out or hurt someone elses feelings. But what do you do? Are all girls this way? I'm terrified of this problem.

I'm back!!!!!
I'm alive and kicking. It's been a long couple of weeks. We just moved and things are settling down. I'm so happy to be back blogging!!! I've totally missed it! The weather has been beautiful, spring has lasted longer than normal and I am so happy about that. Summer is going to be very mellow around here, I'm not putting the girls in anything, we are going to chill and do nothing !!! "Nothing" never sounded so great.
