April 24th is my dad and mother-in-laws birthday. Thursday night we had a surprise party for her at Mauri's. It was fun being with Brian's side of the family. Vicky has been so helpful with the move. She came over three days in a row to help put the house together. I couldn't have done it with out her. Thanks Vicky, for all that you do. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hey April, happy b-day to these two and I just wanted to say hi and I hope the move went well. That's funny you found that book...I sure love my parents.
I just read your post about mean girls...and man it makes me so worried about my four. To me they are just the best girls ever. I overhear them saying kind things to their friends and I really think they're on the right track. But it's so hard to really KNOW that for sure. I mean, I'm just not with them all the time and I really wonder how I can really instill completely kind qualities in them that they'll always live by. Girls can just be plain mean. One of my girls has a friend that's just not too nice. My daughter's oblivious to it now, but I wonder when she'll start "getting it" and being hurt, and maybe being tempted to do the same things to others... They're all still so young but I know it's starting and it's going to be tough to combat. Let me know if you come up with any great ideas.
the 17th of april is MY dad's bd and the 24th was Joel's dad's bd! CRAZY!
