EASTER

I love Easter. I think that it's my favorite Holiday. I love the weather, the festivities, the spring clothes and colors, getting together with friends and family, I just love it! We had so much fun this year going to Easter egg hunts, the Arts festival, and BBQ's. The weather was beautiful. We had only one incident. Mia was running after Aspen and their friend Avaree and she fell, face first, on the concrete and landed on her nose. We don't know if it is broken or not. It was pretty swollen that day. Now it looks pretty good. Anyway it was a great weekend. Now if we can just finish up and get moved into the new house life will be back to "normal".

quiet kids..... I'm scared!!!

This is why quiet kids scare me. Today I am watching Kian and Ava. Lets just say , It's been fun. We've had marker on the floor, pee on the neighbors walkway, ripped out other neighbors potted plants and this is how it all started.....Tatum in the make-up! (Look , she's proud as punch) I shoulda known.
Oh and naked kids all over. They love taking all their clothes off outside in the middle of the street. I'm going to get turned in .

My cameras battery died before I could get any more pictures of the othere kids. I'll have to get more later.

Pushy Neighbors

Typically I LOVE spring, but right now all I can think about is house and it is driving me crazy! It's like I made a deal with myself that I can't enjoy my life until the house is done. I know that this is terrible, but kinda true. So tonight my neighborhood was having their annual Easter egg hunt and I told the girls that we're not going. We have too much to do. So they hit up the neighbor for a ride and then the neighbor called me. She basically told me I was going . I tried to get out of it with every excuse in the book but she wouldn't have any of it . So we went. I loved it! It was a good reminder that each day is a gift, even if your are knee deep in construction. It was a great family night and much needed. Thank goodness for pushy neighbors, because of her we had a great start to an awesome spring.

The Playhouse

Tonight I was flipping through our pictures and came across these pictures of the playhouse. I haven't had much time to think
about how much we will miss it. I love this little house. The fact that my brothers built it for my girls, but now have little girls of their own that enjoy it too, is so sweet. I hope whoever buys our house will love it as much as we have. I'm sure there were tons of fun memories made in that house. Thank goodness memories can last a lifetime.

I'm sick!

I'm sick! My baby is growing up! Tatum will be turning 3 this July and I am so sad. I feel like I've wished it away. My goal this summer is to play with my kids, I want to have fun with them on their level, playing house, dress ups, or what ever their into that day. Pretty soon Aspen and Mia will be too old for this kind of stuff. Doesn't time fly? My Dad always says "these are the best days of your life." I know that he's right. I love my girls, they are everything I dreamed of and more. So here's to a great spring and summer! I can't wait!

Newport

I am still just messing around trying to figure all of this blogging stuff out. Wouldnt it be fun to live in newport? I love the beach !!!!! I'm totally jealous, wish I were there.....
