We spent last week at Lake Powell on " Oh my Darlyn". Obviously we did not give the boat that lovely name. It's spelled weird too, I think it's named after a Daryl and a Lynne or something....... Who knows????
Anyway... We had a blast. The kids had fun exploring and named their side of the cove "KIDZ ISLAND".
It was nice,"Kidz Island" ended up being a great babysitter.
Half way through, Brians Aunt, Uncle and Cousins came. Thats when the party really started!!!
We tubed, surfed, knee boarded, skied, laughed, laid out, hung out, talked, and grew closer.
We all made it home safe and sound and I'm always grateful for that. I love my family so much and I cherish the time we spend together.
Mom and Dad thanks for all that you do.

do you know i've never been to lake powell? and the only time i've been to moab was with your fam and we rode in the back of the pickup the WHOLE way? it's so cool to see a fam spend time together in such memorable ways. you are very lucky!
Ohhh Lake Powell :) How fun, I really need to take my kids- maybe in a year or so when they are bigger...hmmm wait, I guess I'll have another little one, Crap! Oh well, that could be fun even if they are small

Lake Powell again?? You are so lucky. I have always wanted to take my girls there. Scott and I always go with other couples but never with the kids. He is way to overprotective. I want to go to Kidz cove!
